Pattern Replacement

so.. just found out switching patterns changes things.. ex. the spot my paths were in; if i were to replace it with another pattern it would change to my other pattern it was replaced with. any way to change this?

Only thing I could think of is just using another profile to place the other patterns

No, unfortunately. On the plus side, you can use it to easily replace seasonal patterns ie. paths. Most of us make alternate characters for extra patterns.
