updates are always available, there's no "time limit" for them on the switch!
 
Got it installed. Was holding out the irrational hope that they'd update then let digitals have access to the game a little early since so many folks seem to be getting it early on physical copy due to store closings.

Feeling slightly deflated now, but I'll get over it. XD

I did the same.

In a turn of events, I may be picking up my physical copy in an hour or so. UPS tried delivering to my work today, but I'm a teacher, and we're shut down. I have a buddy that works at UPS, and he gave me their number to call to see if I can swing by and pick up my copy. Yes, I have both. The digital is for my AC Switch, and the physical for my children. This is one of those times where one island per Switch will pay off :)

Also, I will not be picking up my physical copy. UPS sent it back to Amazon since they knew my school was closed. Drats.
