anyone STILL getting used to calling their town "island"???

i am! i’ve recently gotten back into trading and i always have the urge to ask “your town or mine?” lol
 
Oh absolutely.
I don't know why I bother though, because everyone is going to know what I meant to say, so long as I'm posting in the New Horizons sections of the forum.
 
yes! i keep forgetting that it's not a town, plus i keep saying "the mayor". i don't know what really to say to replace that except your player
 
I keep saying town. I try to correct myself when I think about it but it's just easier to type. :p
Not sure if I'll ever fully get used to it but I'll try!

It's also kinda tricky to not refer to your character as a mayor. Again, it's much easier to say/type than resident representative..
 
Yess!! I keep typing "my town" I am so used to it. I always have to retype it to "island" it is so strange.
 
Yes! I’ve only just realised recently that I’ve been calling it town and had to keep correcting myself haha
