Has anyone been noticing Joycon Drift with Switch Pro Controllers?

Oh yeah. My pro controller and my joy cons. It's a design flaw in all Nintendo joy sticks on every system right now.

Sucks.

It isn't Joy Con drift if it's not a Joy Con...

But no not yet, but my controller is definitely in need of replacement after 3 years of instensive use.

All of my Switch controllers (LR Joycons and Pro Controller) have significant drift. It's really upsetting because these controllers are so expensive, and I've come to associate Nintendo with quality--but these controllers are not of that standard. If the controllers weren't like 80 bucks I wouldn't be as upset but I can't be shelling out money on things like this :(

Yes, definitely. I've been saying this for ages, but Nintendo really need to recognise this as a design issue as well. I'm on my third pro controller at the moment lol. My first one acted up after about 3 months and my second one lasted about 1.5 years. Luckily I managed to get both of them replaced for free through either the store I bought it through, or Nintendo themselves. However, some gaming stores won't cover you for drifting as it's caused by "overuse", so maybe try to find something else wrong with it. I'm not sure about Nintendo's policies around drifting though. I was somewhat lucky when I sent my second pro controller to Nintendo, as they found that the motherboard was faulty and got a free replacement. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next time I need a new one as I feel like I'm not going to be as lucky. I don't want to be constantly paying money for a product that doesn't last nearly as long as what it should, so I really really hope Nintendo makes repairs free for joysticks on pro controllers in the near future.

i have it on both of the wired controllers i bought, at this point ive just learnt to deal with it because i cannot physically afford to keep replacing controllers everytime they get the drift. its a pain but what can you do

No but my right Joy-Con has definitely started to do it fairly badly lately. It likes to drift off to the right so in AC it tends to send the camera for a spin. I have had my joycons since 2017 but still. My Pro Controller is also about that old but still seems to be fine for now.

I think I got a bad wireless controller because it started drifting much faster than my joycons did.
So now I have two pairs of joycons and one wireless controller and all of them are drifting...

Luckily I haven’t had any drifting on my consoles yet but I didn’t really play my first switch that much, and my second one I’ve had for not even a month yet haha. I really wish Nintendo would offer free repairs for this because it’s such a common issue between players. Seems a little unfair for them to be making money from it when it’s clearly a design issue.

Yes, my character walks ever so slowly to one side. He can't stand still sometimes, however other times it's perfectly fine.

Luckily I've avoided this so far which is ideal because I purchased my console through Nintendo's store, so I feel like it'd be a nightmare to get it booked in for repair or replacement. If you're someone who has purchased from Amazon or something I'm sure it'd be way easier to sort out - they're pretty good about this stuff.

Right now Nintendo's repair center is shur down. The only thing that anyone can do is try the swab method (worked for mine) or just buy a replacement.

My Pro Controller hasnt shown a sign of it yet! I thought they wouldn’t have those issues but apparently I am lucky with it?

but I had it really bad on the joycons. Got it repaired even after warranty for free though.

So far, my pro controller is safe *knocks on wood*. But I had to repair my first pair of Joy-Cons, since after 6 months, they started acting up, and it got really bad. Then I bought myself myself a neon-yellow pair, and I now do not allow my first pair and DEFINITELY not my yellow pair to be used for games like Smash Bros. and Splatoon 2. It's unfortunate, but those are now pro controller-only games.

ive got joycon drift on both my launch day joycons now, and the isopropyl alcohol swap method doesn't work on em anymore. its the worst when playing AC. it started getting bad when i played fe3h, got worse after ac, and then my right one started drifting. i reaaalyy dont wanna waste 60 dollars just for it to happen again. I've never had this much of an issue with the joycons, why can't they just change the design??? clearly somethings wrong if this is a common issue.

Not yet so far, my switch hasn't been drifting when I played ACNH on my monitor screen.

I am pissed and it does it to me on ACNH all the time that my character moves up. The worst is when you need to make a selection and accidentally clicked on something you didn't meant to do (ex. Dodo asks me if I want to visit local or online, I accidentally clicked "changed my mind", only to have to go through the conversation AGAIN), or when you try to stargaze, you can't even wish upon a star, because my villager just tries to move UP, it's really really frustrating!!!
