My campsite was officially constructed yesterday. This morning Chops showed up. I invited him to live with me, Nook gave me the housing plot then told me I'd have to pay for future plots for residents. How many villagers need to move in before K.K. will start playing on Saturday nights?

I think you need around 8 villagers, I reset and both times I’ve been able to work on my star rating after the 8th villager has moved in.

I'm guessing 3-Star town before he shows up? I think Chops will be my sixth or seventh villager so I might island hop tomorrow to see if I can find a villager to invite instead of getting a random one.
