Star wand limitations?

I was very excited to get the star wand in-game but I was very let down by the fact that an article of clothing can only be assigned to one outfit out of the eight possible programmed ones. I wear my post-op patch with pretty much everything, it's sort of like my trademark. I'm disappointed in the fact that, if I'm going to use the star wand primarily to change outfits, I'm going to have to buy 7 more post-op patches so that I can have one in every outfit. Does this bother anyone else? Is there anything else about the star wand and its limitations that bother you?

I'm confused by this.
I've seen people say that you can only use a clothing item once in an outfit.
Does this mean wearing the same pair of glasses means you need to buy eight pairs?
Or that you can actually only have those glasses with one outfit and none of the others?
Because the latter would SUCK.
The first version doesn't bother me at all TBH.

If you want to ALWAYS wear glasses with all of your outfits, you would need to have a pair per outfit! Think of them like templates where items are stuck to those templates and cannot be removed to be on a different template

Ah, that's fine then! Just means ordering/trading for some extra stuff. At least they aren't stored in your inventory but rather ON the wand

this is actually a great point tho, if they're really stored on the wand and not taking up space in my storage, i guess i don't mind having so many extras as much as i would otherwise
