Where are you storing your turnips?

Since we can't put turnips in storage, where are you keeping them?

I have about 40 stacks of turnips and right now I'm just using my empty room in my house to store them (36 stacks) and the other 4 stacks are in my main room... I feel like there's gotta be a better way for this.
 
i’ve put them into one of my rooms that has no furniture in it
 
In my inventory. I never really play the stalk market so I only ever buy one lot of 10 at a time, and if I don't keep them in my inventory, I will forget I bought them and they will rot. So I only lose 1 inventory spot
 
when i clean out my basement i think i'll start putting them in there. i dont have many plans for that room other than making it look like a typical storage unit/attic/garage with random boxes and bikes and stuff like that. was kinda thinking about getting the cobblestone block texture from minecraft and making my basement look like a dungeon, but my turnips need somewhere to go. i was thinking when i get to the point where i can just buy however many i want without a care in the world i can keep some outside for decoration like a lil farm or something.

Well the whole purpose of these turnips are to make a flip. Kind of not making the most of it if you just buy a single stack.
 
I'm burying them in front of Nook's Cranny, giving myself a reminder on the bulletin board in case I forget.
 
I’ll probably have a fenced area in my town if I run out of basement space looool
 
I just got the back room, so I'm keeping them in the back room where I put some boxes, a retro heater, my HHA pennant, and the three poster set of Timmy, Tommy, and Tom Nook.
 
I was going to bury them at first, but found out they could spoil. So now I'm just gonna store them in my house most likely. We'll see if people come up with a better method because I try not to take a chance with having my turnips spoiled anymore after my first experience on ACNH. ;o;

(If anyone that reads this knows a better way pls let me know thanks!!!)
 
My pockets since I don't have enough room in my storage. I don't want to upgrade my house because I like it small and simple, at least for now
 
They're on the floor in the main room of my house right now, but I'll probably have to make a fenced area later when I started decorating my house more!
 
Wasn't enough space in my entire house, so left them in the corner of my town where I never go... so many stacks of them!
