repeatedly tap (A) while crafting!

I have had the game for a while and just noticed that tapping (A) repeadtly while crafting speeds up the animation.
Hope this post helps others like me who realized late that crafting could be sooo much faster!

has anyone else found interesting "hacks" for gameplay?

It’s not exactly a hack, but I usually put the map to always on when I’m visiting a town, so I don’t have to stop to check where I am.

You don't need to mash. You just need to double tap A and it automatically speeds it up.

Button mashing helps relieve the frustration of crafting 20+ bait. That system needs a tweak; same with consuming fruit.

You can also just mash A if you need to craft multiples, since the crafting menu always goes to the last thing you've crafted/looked at. You can also automatically jump down south without the pole if there's a narrow spot.
