will I get the glitch if I force the villager to leave via amiibo card or is that only the person who is trying to take the villager that's being forced out?
 
You are fine to use your own cards on your own game. It's only if you are adopting someone from another village or someone is coming to adopt the person you are forcing out that can potentially trigger the glitch
