Speculation of Returning NPC’s

I made a separate thread as it?s not confirmed and it?s unofficial (and to note Harvey, Flick, Blathers, Celeste and Daisy Mae weren?t in the Data Mine so it?s unfinished at the time of writing this) and it?s possible someone may have broken some rules for this... so if you want to read on, go at your own discretion.

Heck, I don?t even know if this I can post this, let me know mods and I?ll ask to delete it.

So, according to a recent data mine that I found, there is a possibility that Brewster, Shrunk, Luna, Katrina, Redd, possibly Reese/Cyrus and Harriet are in the game

Before you ask, they?re all placeholder names, but you can clearly make out what they mean:

Cafe (B), Club (Dr.S), Dream (L), Katrina_Tent, Redd_Tent, Recycle_Tent and Poodle_Tent.

Of course, this is all speculation and in the air, it seems that the ones I?ve listed, 4 out of 6 are traveling merchants with no indication that they?ll have a permanent place on your island (though redd and Katrina were always TM?s), and this DM will only grow bigger from here (also there was a spoiler for Villager homes and how many you can have.)

And there?s a ?rescue_center? labeled amongst it, so we?ll possibly be able to see Resetti and don again (in person, not over phone when we get stuck)

god i hope this is real - those are some great npcs and i especially need dr.shrunk now that i’m naming my island axolotl:c

i also really need the dream suite,, that was one of my favourite features in new leaf and now that i have ideas that i’m proud of for my island, i’d be bummed if only friends and traders got to see it ;u;

do you have any idea what the villager amount was possibly?

edit: i'm glad to hear we'd possibly have brewster and the rest! that would be exciting for sure.
there might be a club bc where would kk preform? and i guess shrunk would be good for managing it

luna is a necessary one bc we want to visit islands through dreaming again or something similar pls!!

If the mine is to be believed, it’s 3 less then the original, so it’s 12 in total

Another thing in the bin is that possibly the Ok crew will be here, along side a new name

I'd also like to know this, even though giving a link might not be possible because of the rules. I have to look at it and probably crawl it with a program for all the data sooner or later anyway, so having a source already would be quite nice.

Well it's good to see that Luna is back! I'm wondering what R&C will be selling in their tent. Also I'm wondering if harriet will begin selling wigs or new styles?

I need Luna and the Reese and Cyrus!
I really hope they all come back though! They are definitely more wanted than any of the other confirmed NPC.

Luna is a must for the dream suite.

I can definitely see redd as a merchant selling art, and Brewster selling coffee.

The club could also mean the comedy club he had back in CF! c: or maybe we will have a new musical NPC playing in the club as well

I loved the club. Would go in there when I got bored at night just to hear the remixes of the K.K. Songs.

7 DAL station/townhall styles (which were train station styles in nl)
Sister_tent (which I believe to be label or one of the other sisters)
7-11 (yes that 711)
School_tent/school1 or school2
Kk sliders stage
Ms_tent
Auction_house_tent
Rex_tent
Shanku_stand
And Adventure_tent

Wow, it’d be pretty amazing if all of that turns out to be true. I don’t know anything about data mines. I wonder what some of the things you just posted mean? School tent? That’s cool if Kk Slider gets a stage! Thank you for sharing

I wonder if the adventure tent would be for phineas. I am also excited for there to be a designated school building; wonder if having this would add to villagers actions/personalities at all

I googled "Shanku Stand," and it appears to be some kind of seashell. I wonder if this is Pascal related. If so, things just got real. Also, I believe there's a 7-11 set in New Leaf, so that may be making a comeback. I'd for sure buy a Mega Gulp if it meant getting in-game items.
