An almost rage inducing moment... UGH!!!!

I had my last Nook Island Tour ticket and still hadn't found a peppy villager. So I go to the last island and who do I find? Tangy! I was excited to be reunited with a villager I had in my City Folk town. I just was about to ask her to move into my island when the power goes out. I thought fine, I'll just use handheld mode... after all it's a Switch! I take my Switch out of its dock and it dies on me.

I was infuriated.

I am still face palming. Now I'm probably going to have Pinky or some other undesired peppy character move into my town and I cannot stop it.

I read that in order for Amiibo card characters to move in you have to have an empty house for them or they won't agree to move in to the island. You can't put a villager you hate in boxes like you could in New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo. You have to wait for that villager to want to move out.

*Sigh*

Oh and uh I guess I need to replace my Switch's battery or something.

Why was your Switch battery on empty? Were you playing in handheld before the power went out? I know it's not going to resolve it at this point, but if you know your Switch battery is low, and the power is out, it's probably best to leave the Switch in sleep mode in the future.

Usually when my switch dies I plug it in and then it takes me right back to where I was in the game c: so hopefully once you turn it back on tangy will be there! It's not like the DS or other nintendo products where your game just shuts off c:

Also definitley get that checked!
