I could be wrong and part of a tiny minority, but I think she's snooty and the new bear cub is peppy and the new bear is normal. Then Reneigh is likely uchi, following the uchi/jock starters theory. For males I think we've got - smug cat, lazy goat, and jock sheep. So we'd have one new villager, at least, for each personality.
EDIT: There's a new elephant, I think, who I think is cranky. I'm totally blanking on the species at the moment. Forgot to list that one!
EDIT 2: Oh good, I remembered right - a red elephant with purple hair and black tips on the ears and trunk.

i honestly think the wolf is snooty, too, because she has makeup on and typically the only villagers who have makeup on are snooty. i agree with all of that, though, but i’m still having a hard time getting used to the idea that the sheep is a male lmao
My second guess would be snooty. I just think she could be uchi because she reminds me of Phoebe who seems to be wearing some blue mascara (?). I'd be a little surprised if she was peppy.

I agree with moonbell; the only personality I’d rule out is Normal. Of the other three, I’m leaning toward Uchi or Snooty, and since she’s featured right next to Reneigh (who I presume is an Uchi) I actually think it’s likeliest she’s a Snooty.
Don’t get me wrong, she has a nice design and definitely fits the Island aesthetic. I think I’m just a bit underwhelmed because she looks too similar to Freya to me *shrug*

I think that it's very likely she could be snooty...I just really really hope she's not. I'd be happy with anything other than snooty really, but peppy would be extra cute.
I agree with all of your other guesses except the elephant. He gives me jock vibes, even though we already have the jock sheep.
I don't think these are all of the new villagers, so I don't necessarily think they're all one of each personality type.

oh!! the person who posted it said they think it was new LMAO. i never had shep in my towns before so not familiar with him, but now that you mention i have seen him on the forums!
