Some of you have had the game for a few days now. Having only had the game for a few hours, I'd love to hear some of your best advice on what to do in the first day of having the game. Thanks in advance!

Donate fishes and bugs to Tom Nook until he calls Blathers ♥

Choose "place" when selecting your fish, bugs etc to display them in your home/around your island until you are able to hand them over to Blathers the next day.

If you can manage to pay your first loan with miles you will get the mile+ program :)

get as many Miles as you can to pay your first loan, so you can upgrade your tent and unlock the Miles+ program, which lets you craft better tools and other great stuff.
also, fish and catch bugs as much as you can, then give them to Nook, he'll reward you with some DIY crafting recipes and call Blathers to move in :)

If you run out of sticks for crafting tools, not only can you shake trees to get sticks.....but if nothing drops the first time just keep shaking it and a stick should fall out eventually.

Also people will probably do this anyway, but if you button mash while crafting it speeds up the crafting animation.

You can do a lot:

- Catch fishes
- Catch bugs
- Clean up your island from weed (too a while for me, hehe)
- Sell stuff and buy stuff for your tent
- Get a slingshot (had already two gift boxes)
- Get your deb off
- Order your very own house

and of all of this...

- HAVE FUN!!! xD

I would recommend paying off your loan and ordering a house so you can get Nook Mile+ points ASAP. Crafting materials and other things you pick up take up space really quickly so you're going to want to buy extra pocket space as soon as possible! Not sure about the rest of the Nook Mile+ redemptions but I'm thinking I'll go for the tools next especially because I've been fishing for like 3 hours straight now and I need better tools for sure :'D

I also recommend you get the Slingshot recipe from Tommy? (the one in the tent) ASAP because the balloon prizes are awesome and very helpful. I got an extra 40k today just from shooting down balloons.

Don't use your free Nook Miles Ticket from Tom Nook until you have expanded you pocket space.

Don't be like me and then have no room to bring anything back. lol
