-Super Mario RPG
-Paper Mario
-Paper Mario: TTYD
-Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga
-Mario and Luigi: BiS
-Pokemon Silver/Gold
-Pokemon Emerald/Sapphire/Ruby
-Pokemon Stadium
-Pokemon Stadium 2

In no such order, I love most of them the same.
Super Mario RPG is my favorite, because of its originality, and a great game overall.

I notice that neither Earthbound, Mother, nor Mother 3 is on that list... well whatever.

I like pokemon, chronno trigger, Mario RPG, and Earthbound/Mother.

That's not very considerate. I liked the series, but it's not on my top favs.

I'm just going to list all of the turn-based RPGs that I've played.

Pokemon, although I'm not entirely sure if that counts.
Disgaea
Valkyria Chronicles
Phantasy Star Online III
Baten Kaitos

That's about it. I'm not really fond of RPGs, since they tend to focus on grinding, especially if it's turn-based.

I haven't played Earthbound, or anything related.

Problem?

Nah, but you definitely should consider checking it out if you like RPG's, because it's very funny and detailed.

The story, from what I heard, scares me a little.

You're not gonna let a little story scare you are ya?

You didn't put a period at the end of your second sentence.

The picture had an exclamation point.

And does the game actually have a rape scene in it?

The picture wasn't part of the actual sentence but I digress.

RPGs are fun and one of my favorite genres of video games.

Paper Mario and Final Fantasy games are really the only good turn based games that I've played.

If you two wanted to be perdantic.
RPGs = Role Playing Games (so a game where you play a role as one character or more characters). All games tend to fall into that catorgory.
Drop that one in a games design lesson and watch the arguements = w=

Fire Emblem.

There is no competition. I love turn-based SRPGs, but Fire Emblem is the best in the genre.

Also, most games in this thread are NOT strategy RPGs... they're just plain RPGs. If we're talking regular role-playing games, I also like Dragon Quest, the Paper Mario series, and the Shin Megami Tensei series. Probably forgetting a bunch of others. Radiant Historia, a recent DS game, is also pretty good.

Fire Emblem obviously.

advance wars
Also good, but the setting doesn't resonate with me too well. Even the grittier DS sequel wasn't all that great. I definitely dig the fantasy settings of the FE games, though, and the stories are always pretty good. Can't say the same for Advance Wars.

Yeah....are you talking about regular turn based RPG's like Final Fantasy or Paper Mario, or strategy ones like Fire Emblem?

Perdantic is not a word.
And I'd have to say Fire Emblem.
