I doubt it's going to seriously help. The old PS3 model that had a 20 gig hard-drive failed at the market, and it was priced the same as this one will be... So the new price is $499. I knew this was going to happen, though... This is Sony's big E3 bomb, but I dunno why they let it out earlier than needed.

The 20GB PS3 failed because it didn't had WiFi and some other really necessary stuff.

The Xbox 360 doesn't have Wi-Fi either. You need to buy a separate dongle that costs $100, and yet people are still snapping that up.

That would explain the towers of full PS3 boxes at all the stores I live near.
